Product DescriptionIn today’s day and age, when creedal preferences of rulers and governments have become decreasingly determinative, how does one properly map out Christianity? How does one represent the lives of Christians in countries where they are the minority, like China, Indonesia, or the Sudan? Celebrated scholar Franklin H. Littell presents an innovative solution to the visual representation of faith in the modern age with Carta’s Illustrated History of Christianity. This Christian history book, featuring over 400 maps and illustrations, takes the reader on a journey from Christianity during classical antiquity, the middle ages, all the way to the modern day. Carta’s Illustrated History of Christianity is for anyone interested in learning about the history of Christianity, both in and out of the classroom. | |
