Dean Anderson was born in Santa Rosa, California in 1961. He graduated from Piner High School in 1979 and from San Diego State University in 1982. He received his Masters of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield Illinois in 1986. Dean writes for a number of publications including Games Magazine, Focus on the Family, Lifeway Publications, and the San Francisco Chronicle. Dean is married to his wife, Mindy, whom he met at Trinity. They have three grown children, their son, Bret and daughters, Paige and Jill.
