Examination Copy Policy

Professors are encouraged to examine Hendrickson titles for possible course adoption. Please mail, fax, or email exam copy requests on school letterhead (or from an institutional email address) indicating the professor's name, the course name, and the expected enrollment.

Professors in the United Kingdom and Europe may request exam copies from Alban Books via email: sales@albanbooks.com.

Exam copies are mailed with a provisional invoice billed at a 40% discount. Professors may examine the book for thirty days before: (1) adopting the textbook; (2) paying the invoice; (3) returning the book. If the textbook is adopted and a bookstore order for ten or more copies is received, the exam copy becomes a complimentary desk copy (please notify us of the adoption and the bookstore order).

Examination copies are limited to one copy per title per professor. Desk copies are not provided each academic term a text is used, and reference works are not normally offered as examination copies. We reserve the right to refuse exam copies to individuals who abuse the policy.
